|We accept the following file formats:|
• PDF (most recommended)
• Adobe Illustrator (AI)
• Adobe Photoshop (PSD)
*Note: For JPG/PNG/TIFF files, please ensure that the artwork is in high resolution of recommended 300dpi.
|Do you provide design services?|
|Botak Sign does not provide any design or file amendment services. If you require design services, kindly head to Ninja Designer||↑|
|What payment methods do you have?|
|We accept bank transfer, company cheque [Payable to Botak Sign Pte Ltd], cash, or NETS only.|
Please note that we do not accept personal cheques.
|Do you provide delivery?|
|We are able to provide delivery under special requests. There will be additional charges involved as we will be using a third-party delivery service. For cheaper delivery options, please order from Print By Phone instead.||↑|
|How do I print with you?|
|Please provide us the ready to print file in TIFF, Jpeg, PDF, EPS, PSD or AI. For custom cutting services please provide the cut line in Adobe Illustrator format. You can send your ready artwork to our email.||↑|
|What are your opening hours?|
|Monday to Friday: 9:00 am — 6:00 pm|
Saturday: 9:00 am — 1:00 pm
Closed on Sundays and public holidays
|What type of printing do you do?|
|We do mostly large format printing and digital printing.||↑|
|When can I collect my order?|
|You will receive an email via our Order Tracking System when your order is ready.||↑|
|Do you provide colour proofs and samples?|
|We can provide colour proofs and samples for certain types of orders upon request.||↑|
|What is your lead time?|
|Our lead time varies with each product. Do check with your graphic specialist when you are placing an order. Our average lead time for most of our products is approximately 1-2 days after payment has been made. However, we are able to print within the day itself for certain products at additional urgent charges. For bulk orders or more complicated orders, the lead time may take longer.|
Alternatively, you may want to use our e-commerce platform Print By Phone for the full details of price and lead time. Simpler products such as name cards or foam boards can be collected within 2-3 hours upon placing your order.
|Does your company provide installation services?|
|Botak Sign does not provide installation services. However, we have a list of reliable installation partners that we can recommend if you require an installer. Kindly request for a recommendation if you require installation services.||↑|
|If my file is not print-ready, will you guys be able to source and print for me?|
|Unfortunately, we do not provide design services and will require a print-ready file when you are placing an order. You may approach a designer to create a file for you or head to Ninja Designer where you can seek design services.|
Alternatively, you may take a look at our editable design templates. If you require a template that is currently not available on our platform, kindly let us know and we can create one for you.
|Can I send in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) files for printing?|
|If you have print files in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, or PowerPoint format, kindly export them into PDF format. ||↑|
|Can you provide some simple designs for me to print? (Eg. Simple texts and information)|
|We do have many design templates available for your use when you are printing with us. Do head to our design templates for more information. For more specific or complicated designs that require the help of a designer, you may head to Ninja Designer instead.||↑|
|If I’m a reseller customer, can I use Print by Phone to place an order?|
|You are free to use Print By Phone to place your order. However, the price will be slightly higher due to convenience and the additional features such as design templates and delivery options.||↑|
|Can I bring my own materials to print?|
|We are able to print on your own materials. However, please note that we would need some excess for testing, sampling, and wastage in order to ensure that we can print on the given materials. We are not responsible for any defects caused by technical errors during the printing process, and will be unable to compensate for your material cost.||↑|
|I urgently need to print some black and white documents (A4 paper). Are you able to do it? How much would that cost?|
|For simple black and white document printing, kindly approach our friendly Customer Service staff at #01-19 to assist you. The cost is $0.50 per piece regardless of single or double side.||↑|
|My printing is very close to a fire point. Will it cause a fire hazard?|
|In general, having your prints near a fire point is not advisable. Some of our materials are fire retardant, but some are still flammable. We would encourage you to check with your building's security and safety guidelines to determine if you should place your prints near the fire point.||↑|
|Can I request to have all my printing packed separately and wrapped in paper?|
|There will be additional charges if you request special packing. Kindly check with your graphic specialist and they will advise you on the cost accordingly based on the type of products that you print.||↑|
|I've already came here twice and my print is still not ready, can you send it to me for free?|
|When your print is ready, you will receive an email sent out by our Order Tracking System (OTS) asking you to come and collect. If your print is constantly delayed due to errors on our end despite receiving the OTS at least twice, we will send the print to you.|
However, if you come to collect your print on your own accord without receiving any notification from us, we will not be responsible for delivering the print to you. Kindly arrange your own transport instead.
|Are your stickers long lasting and waterproof?|
|Yes we do. For large format stickers, we can recommend our vinyl stickers (LSM) that are waterproof, long-lasting, and versatile enough for a variety of uses. However, do note that vinyl stickers have about 1-2mm shrinkage over time, and we are also not liable for any damage due to mistakes made during installation.|
For smaller label stickers, our PET stickers are waterproof, long-lasting, and do not shrink over time. PET are available in gloss, matte, and transparent.
|Most stickers leave behind adhesive residue after prolonged usage. Do you have any stickers that do not leave residue?|
|Our removable sticker (LSR) is a low tack sticker with weaker adhesive that will not leave residue over time. However, if applied for prolonged periods under harsher weather conditions such as strong sunlight or heat, there may eventually be residue.|
Residue may also occur due to poor workmanship during installation. For certain cases, we may recommend other stickers or methods of application. Do check with our graphic specialists if you are unsure.
|How can I apply to be a reseller or be eligible for corporate price?|
|If you have a dedicated graphics specialist serving you, kindly ask for our corporate price application form. If not, please send in an email to email@example.com and we will send you the application form. The approval process may take up to 3 working days and is subject to the discretion of Botak Sign's management.||↑|
|My print has a lot of bubbles. What should I do?|
|This depends on the type of bubbles that are on the print. For products with lamination, having multiple tiny bubbles (approx 1mm in diameter) is considered normal as the lamination will require at least 8 hours to set completely.|
For larger air bubbles or bubbles caused by dust/dirt, kindly send us a photo for us to determine the cause and resolve the issue for you.
|What is the maximum size I can print?|
|Our PVC banners are 3.2 meters, large format stickers and poster paper are 1.5 meters, and laser printing materials (such as art cards, label stickers, etc) are SRA3 (320mm x 450mm).|
However, for large format stickers, we are able to do tiling by overlapping, and therefore the size can be much larger. Our materials' maximum print size may vary depending on the material.
You can check our full material specifications in order to determine our maximum printing size.
|I printed a large number of items and am unable to check all the items during collection. Can I let you know if I discover shortages or defects after the collection?|
|If you are unable to complete your checking at our premises, you can receive all the items and sign on the Delivery Order or job sheet first to acknowledge that you have collected the items.|
If there are any defect or missing items, kindly send a photo or let us know, and we will make up for the shortage or do a reprint for you if we confirm that it is an error on our part.
|I have a super urgent print job. Can you help me?|
|We can take urgent print jobs. However, do note that this express service comes at additional charges and your printing file needs to be flawless in order for us to proceed with your printing fast.|
Alternatively, you can place your order via our e-commerce platform Print By Phone that provides RUSH and even SUPER RUSH services.
|I would like to do print and die cut for stickers/foam board but I don’t have cut line files, what should I do?|
|If you do not have a cut line file, and the background of your artwork is white, you can place an order on Print By Phone.|
If your artwork requires us to remove full-colored backgrounds, kindly head to Ninja Designer where you are able to place an order and employ the help of a designer.
|My files are too blur. Are you able to make the image less blur?|
|If your design is in flat colours or simple gradients (such as logos, texts, simple clip arts, etc) and you require the help of a designer, kindly head to Ninja Designer where a designer will be able to recreate your artwork file in a vector format to ensure its sharpness.|
However, if your design has photos or images, we are unable to make the image less blur unless you are able to provide a high-resolution photo or image.
|I'm not able to collect my print during your working hours. Can you place my printing outside your office for me to collect tomorrow (Sunday) since I already paid?|
|We are closed on Sunday and will not be able to assist you in your collection. For security purposes, we also cannot leave your print outside of our office as we do not wish to be liable for any cases of theft, vandalism, or mishaps that may happen to your print if left outside without supervision.|
If you are unable to collect during our working hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 6:30pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm), kindly arrange with your dedicated graphics specialist for a suitable collection time or ask someone to collect on your behalf.
|I want to print and paste on my van. What are the materials that you would recommend?|
|We would recommend our van sticker (LSV). Kindly check the material specifications here or consult with our specialists/your installer about the suitability of the sticker before placing an order.||↑|
|What kind of labels can you print such that I’m able to paste on my essential oil bottles?|
|For labels on essential oil bottles, to ensure that the print will remain, we would recommend our PET stickers with an additional layer of PET lamination.||↑|
|The foam boards that I purchased and collect yesterday are curved. Can you reprint for me free of charge since it is product defect?|
|Kindly take a picture and send it to us so that we can determine the degree of the defect. Some defects may not be errors on our part, but rather material limitations that we are unable to control. Foam boards naturally will have a slight curl when under heat or fluctuating humidity.|
However, if your product is defected due to our oversight, rest assured that we will reprint for you free of charge.

|Kindly take a picture and send it to us so that we can determine the degree of the defect. If your product is defected due to our oversight, rest assured that we will reprint and replace the eyelets for you. We strongly recommend using PC transparent eyelets instead.||↑|
|I just need to print a line of text for vinyl cut but I do not have a ready file. Can you help me?|
|Kindly head to Ninja Designer to place an order for creating an artwork for your text. You can pass completed artwork to the specialists to process your order for vinyl sticker cutting.||↑|
|I want to print an A2 poster but my file size is above 1GB. How should I send you the file?|
|You may upload your file onto a file-sharing site and send us the link to download your file. We recommend using Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer.|
For large printing, you may also resize your file to 150 dpi unless your print is below A2 size or you require the print to be in photo quality and high definition.
|The files that I have provided are in Pantone colour. Will you be able to print the exact same colours for me?|
|We are unable to print in accurate Pantone colours. You may send us your specifications in CMYK colour values. Your print file needs to have CMYK colours instead of Pantone colours.||↑|
|My file is A1 size, can you crop it to 600x600mm and print it for me?|
|We are able to do that for you. However, please indicate clearly the area that you wish to crop out as we will not be liable for any printing errors due to cropping out the wrong area if not clearly indicated.||↑|
|I want to print stickers to be pasted on a dragon boat. What sticker should I use?|
|We would recommend our vinyl sticker (LSMM) with lamination for extra durability. Smooth surface and grease-free or dry application is most recommended.||↑|
|Do you guys have any ready safety sign symbols for me to choose from?|

|Can I have a list of your materials?|
|Our full list of materials and products is extremely extensive. We have a purchase order form that covers most of our commonly ordered materials and finishings. However, for special materials, please send in an inquiry to email@example.com or ask our graphics specialists for recommendations. You may also refer to our website for our available materials.||↑|
|Can I take your print back first then I sent a check to you?|
|We require payment first before collecting your order. This can be allowed only upon approval of the account director on a case-by-case basis.||↑|
|How long can your banner last?|
|If your banner is to be displayed outdoors under sunlight for prolonged periods, the ink can resist fading for up to 1 year. Our PVC banner is fire-retardant, non-tearable, and can resist daily wear and tear if no intentional damage is done to it. Harsh environment conditions may reduce the lifespan of the banner.||↑|
|Are your floor graphics anti slip?|
|Our floor graphics are anti-slip if ordered specifically with the floor lamination. ||↑|
|Do you have outdoor foam board?|
|Our foam boards are not meant for outdoor usage. For boards that would be more suitable for outdoors, we would recommend our corrugated boards instead.||↑|
|How long can your foam board last?|
|Our foam boards can last for more than a year if used indoors and handled with care.||↑|
|What is the difference between gloss or matte lamination? Which should I choose?|
|Gloss lamination will give off a shiny effect, reflects light, and gives vibrant rich colours. The shine works well on print files with heavy colour coverage, photographs and big graphics. It can be hard to view under strong light sources and are also more vulnerable to scratches, fingerprints, and dirt.|
Matte lamination does not reflect light and has a more muted feel to it. Black and white prints may look better with this finish, especially if the design is text-heavy. It is easy to view under all light conditions and does not attract fingerprints or dirt, but colours may appear slightly dull-looking.
However, for the clearest representation and lowest cost for your print, we would recommend without lamination instead.

|We can assist to demonstrate how to insert the poster into the snap frame when you come down to collect your order. If you require us to insert all the posters into the snap frames, we can do it at additional service charges depending on the volume of your order.||↑|
